Audition Dates
November 13 & 14
Make sure you fill out the Audition Information Form in advance of your audition date.
Dance — Auditioners will learn and a short dance combination at the beginning of the audition session. Auditioners should come dressed to move. Sneakers or dance shoes are required. No preparation or experience is required!
Singing — Auditioners have the option to:
- Bring their own music to perform for the creative team (limit 32 bars). The song can be from the show or otherwise.
- Learn a section of music from the show at the audition. Time will be taken to teach the group each option. The songs will be “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “If I Only Had a Brain”.
After running through the provided songs, auditioners will leave the room; then, one at a time, auditioners will be asked to perform the song of their choice. No preparation or experience is required!
Dismissal — Once an auditioner has sung, they are done for the evening!
Callbacks
November 15
(If the director would like to see you for a callback, you will be contacted separately.)
Format — Auditioners will be called back for specific roles. We will be casting several roles without a callback. Individuals will be called back for blocks of time based on character to read and sing small cuttings from the script and score. No preparation is required.
