THE BURNS PARK PLAYERS ARE VERY EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE OUR 2023 PRODUCTION OF BEAUTY & THE BEAST!

Dear BPP Company Member,

It’s a new school year … which means the announcement of the 2023 Burns Park Players production!

Without further ado, our 2023 production at our new venue partner, The Michigan Theater, performing from February 23rd through 26th, will be BEAUTY AND THE BEAST! A heartwarming, family-friendly favorite based on the beloved Disney film, this “tale as old as time” is sure to please adult and kid audiences alike! 

ELIGIBILITY:

As long as you qualify as being part of the Burns Park Elementary (BPE) school community, ANYONE who wants to be in the show is IN! The Burns Park Players serves the BPE community and we’re always looking for new cast members to jump in for this amazing experience, often with one or more of your own kids in the show. Auditions are required for adult participants even if you are not seeking a “named role," but we welcome all participants, experienced and not, young and old.

Any caregiver of a child enrolled at Burns Park Elementary, resident of the BPE school district, or staff at BPE is eligible to audition. Simply prepare 32 bars from any song.

Kid auditions for the part of Chip will also be announced soon! This is a wonderful opportunity for our students to experience being a part of a high-caliber, adult production. Rehearsal demands will be greater for cast kid roles than for kid ensemble and will take place in the evenings. 

Burns Park Elementary students from Kindergarten through 5th-grade will once again be eligible to participate in ensemble numbers. We are working hard to return to lunchtime rehearsals at Burns Park Elementary for our youngest performers. Stay tuned!
